Introduction...

DogsLife is an AIBO personality duplicating (and occasionally improving upon) Hello-Aibo.   He has moods and interests/dislikes in various different things.  There are good behaviors and a few bad ones.  DogsLife is male or female (depending on attention) and skewed to doggish whims -- mainly fun doggish whims, from a dogs standpoint. DogsLife loves to play soccer, and needs little help keeping track of the ball on carpet.   On hard floors, he can hit the ball a little -too- well and send it out of range.   I'm working on it.... DogsLife loves to explore!  He will roam far & wide.  He can get into and out of tight spaces.  There are just so many interesting things to see, sniff, dig, etc.... DogsLife can self-dock when hungry!   If visible, he will approach the charger and mount it by himself. DogsLife's mood affects various aspects of his personality.   If in a really good mood, he'll be butter in your hands.   If in a bad mood or very sad, probably not.  It implements hundreds of performances from Hello Aibo, and over 200 new custom ones composed specifically for DogsLife.  There are many little behaviors hidden away also.  For example, try petting him on the back a lot, or teasing him with the ball (hold it above his head). DogsLife is written in extended RCode, and must be compiled using ReCode.  The various custom actions/performances are edited using Skitter or AiboPet's Performance Editor.   DogsLife is tested and debugged using Aibnet (a telnet console for AIBO's).   Editing DogsLife with Sony's AIBO Master Studio is no longer supported. Customizing DogsLife is possible using AiboPet's YART program (in \CUSTOM directory of the memory stick).   The various configurable "hooks" allow you to change how DogsLife responds to various things. What's New?

Version 2.52 -  LOT'S of New Stuff!  DogsLife can now perform -self docking- when hungry! (210 & 220 only) Full YART support (must use version of YART included). Two new games (tic-tac-toe & touch4). Added over 100 brand new skits & performances.   Soccer kicks have been improved to avoid face-plants.   Name Registration for AIBO and owner. Improved 220 LED support. DogCon utility (in memory stick \CUSTOM directory) for tweaking.

Version 2.50B - More 220/31x tuning.  31x can situp (without falling over) & successfully kick the ball now.  Also implements Aibopet's RCodePlus 2.51 (with faster camera telemetry).

Version 2.50A - Fixed 31x walking/soccer/actions, and added voice command acknowledge for 220/31x.

Version 2.50 - Support for 220 & 31x series AIBO's!!!  Sit-only mode (due to popular demand), more doggish skits, misc exploring/soccer tweak, customization hooks for RCode developers, etc...   Much thanks to AiboPet for the porting tools!  This initial release is still a bit rough on the 31x (tends to fall over), but it'll give you the flavor of DogsLife!
